Mesenchymal stem cell therapy on national television

The TV program “Falar Global” aired on the 30th of January 2010 focused on the clinical application of mesenchymal stem cells. The use of these cells to reverse Graft versus Host Disease (GvHD) in a clinical setting was highlighted. Professor Joaquim M.S. Cabral and the researcher Francisco dos Santos, from the Stem Cell Bioengineering Lab at IBB-IST (co-founder of Cell2B), together with Professor Manuel Abecasis, from IPO-Lisboa, were interviewed and described the major goals and achievements of the project.
